The government has proposed expanding the list of incomes from which authorities will be able to collect alimony.
The Russian tripartite commission will consider a draft government decree on the list of types of salaries and other incomes from which alimony for minor children is withheld.
The draft document was prepared by the Ministry of Labor in connection with the amendments made to the law “On Education in Russia”, “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” reported.
The draft resolution states that alimony can be collected from scholarships to students.
The list also included income from the sale of real estate. Such income will be allowed to collect alimony in favor of children.
The innovations will improve the procedure for collecting alimony, control the income of debtors and prevent evasion of the payment of alimony for minor children.
