Defense Minister Inspects Latest Aircraft at Army Forum

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu before the opening of the Army-2020 forum in the Moscow region examined an exhibition of the latest aircraft, Interfax reported.

Shoigu began by inspecting the closed part, where representatives of the defense-industrial complex showed him the fifth-generation Su-57 multipurpose fighter, the upgraded Mi-28NM attack helicopter and the promising Okhotnik heavy drone.

As the general director of the Sukhoi company Ilya Tarasenko noted, some of the developments presented at the forum “have already been introduced and are being mass-produced.”

The minister also got acquainted with the Altius drone, Su-35S and MiG-35 fighters, Ka-52K, Mi-28T, Mi-171Sh helicopters presented at the open part of the exposition.

After the inspection, the crews of the Su-57 and MiG-35 aircraft demonstrated the flight capabilities of this aircraft in the air.
