Russian entrepreneur and creator of the Telegram messenger Pavel Durov liquidated two organizations related to the cryptocurrency and the Telegram messenger in the UK, RT reported citing an entry in the official register of companies in Great Britain Companies House, Radio Sputnik reports.
According to the channel, it is about the companies Telegram UK Holdings Limited and Telegram Systems LLP. Both organizations are liquidated voluntarily.
Telegram UK Holdings Ltd was established in July 2018 and has the status of a dormant company. This means that the company did not conduct any activity for a certain period. It is owned by the organization – the developer of the cryptocurrency and blockchain project TON Durova Telegram Group Inc., registered in the British Virgin Islands (BVI).
The latest financial report of Telegram UK Holdings was submitted on December 31, 2018, for the 2018 fiscal year.
Telegram Systems LLP is established at the same time. It has the status of a limited partnership and has not provided the British authorities with any financial reports.
An application for the liquidation of companies was signed by Durov on November 6, 2019.
