The EEF (Eastern Economic Forum) scheduled for September 2-4, 2021, in Vladivostok is going to focus on the topic “New Opportunities for the Far East in Changed World,” a press release issued by the Roscongress Foundation claims, TASS informed.
According to the Russian Deputy Prime minister who is also a Chairman of the Organizing Committee by the EEF Yuri Trutnev, the development of the Far East is a national priority for the whole 21 century and the government has created an investment system for support that will address the Far East issues and continue with the dynamic development.
Trutnev also stated that the EEF is one of the main tools that support the Far East strategy, adding that its main goal is to attract numerous investors and get some feedback from the businesses.
He also said that more than 2,500 fresh projects and 1.9 trillion in rubles are evidence that the Far East has become a safe and very welcoming region for doing business.
