Nizhny Novgorod Region Adds Beer to Export List

The Nizhny Novgorod region began to export beer to seven countries, the regional government informed via press release, Ria Novosti reported.

“Nizhny Novgorod enterprises began exporting beer for the first time in the history of the region. Products were delivered to Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan,” the press release said.

According to the data of the regional ministry of agriculture, now 50 enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod Region are exporting agricultural products, which is almost 25% more than at the beginning of 2019.

It is noted that the largest share in the export of agricultural products is oil and fat products, which are supplied to the EU, Germany, the USA, China, Denmark, and about 20 other countries.

In addition, the Nizhny Novgorod Region exports potatoes, pasta, fruit and berry-filled products, ice cream, egg products, and pedigree young cattle.
