Alrosa, a diamond mining business, sold $374 million worth of diamonds and $36 million worth of polished diamonds in June 2021, according to the company.
The business boosted diamond sales 15 times and polished sales 5.5 times compared to June last year.
Alrosa’s product sales revenue in June was $410 million, up 12% from May. Diamond items worth $2.3 billion have been sold since the beginning of 2021, compared to $991.1 million a year ago.
