The Russian government has decided to extend the moratorium on inspections of small and medium-sized businesses until 2022, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a plenary session of the Moscow Financial Forum on Wednesday, local media reported.
“Today I want to say that the government has decided to extend the moratorium on scheduled inspections of small businesses for the next year,” the head of the Cabinet said.
He recalled that the authorities helped businesses cope with the negative impact of the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, supported various industries, small and strategic enterprises, took measures to create a favorable situation in the markets, including energy markets, and also reduced the administrative burden by limiting the number of inspections.
At the moment, Mishustin said, a government decree is being prepared to extend the moratorium on inspections of small and medium-sized businesses.
“The moratorium will affect about 100 thousand small businesses,” the chairman of the Cabinet pointed out.
