Vladimir Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers and the working group of the State Council by May 12 to prepare recommendations for the phased removal of restrictions imposed due to coronavirus in the regions, RIA Novosti reports citing the Kremlin website.

The Ministry of Health and Rospotrebnadzor will continue to monitor the situation with the spread of COVID-19, given the increase in diagnosed, infected and hospitalized patients with coronavirus infection and community-acquired pneumonia, to identify emerging foci.

In addition, by June 1, the government should develop a nationwide action plan for “restoring employment and incomes, economic growth and long-term structural changes” in it.
