ACRA Awards Highest Credit Rating to Gazprom Export

Russia’s Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) has assigned an AAA (RU) creditworthiness rating to Gazprom Export LLC, with a stable outlook, Oil Voice reports.

The rating is the highest under the national scale for the Russian Federation and this is the first time Gazprom Export has been elevated to the level.

The expert assessment by ACRA reflects the strategic importance of Gazprom Export LLC to its parent company, Russia’s energy giant Gazprom as the centralized single export channel beyond the borders of the Russian Federation for commodities produced by Gazprom Group.

The assessment is a proof of the confidence of one of the leading Russian export agencies in the stability of Gazprom Group’s work in the future.

The rating proves the high financial capability and ability to meet payments of Gazprom Export LLC and confirms the image of Gazprom Export as a reliable partner and supplier that timely meets all the taken commitments.

The Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) was established in 2015. The list of its shareholders includes 27 major Russian companies and financial institutions.

The agency’s share capital totals over $45 million. Its main objective is to provide the Russian market with high-quality rating products. ACRA’s methodologies and internal regulation are being developed pursuant to Russian legislation and in line with international best practice in rating activities.
