A business in Russia with tax arrears will be able to receive state subsidies for paying salaries against the background of the coronavirus if it repays the debt at the time of filing an application with the Federal Tax Service, said the head of the Federal Tax Service Daniil Egorov during the briefing, RIA Novosti reported.
He said that according to preliminary data, taxpayers-debtors are about 300,000.
“At the same time, I want to draw attention to when we identified this situation, colleagues in the government also amended the resolution and now the norm is as follows: the taxpayer is entitled to a subsidy, even if he was in arrears on March 1, but if by the time of filing the application he paid it, in this case, he will still have the right to receive it,” Egorov noted.
