Pensioners who receive a pension on a bank card will receive a payment of 10 thousand rubles already at the end of next week, Russian media informed.

“This payment will be made at the end of next week, for 30.7 million people,” the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov said.

Pensioners who receive a pension with home delivery, about 12.7 million people, will receive payment from September 3, simultaneously with the payment of their pension, the minister explained.

At a meeting with representatives of the United Russia party, President Vladimir Putin announced the need for an additional one-time payment of 10,000 rubles to pensioners.

The President’s decree on payments was signed on August 24.

Pensioners will receive a lump sum payment of 10 thousand rubles in September. At the same time, citizens do not need to go anywhere, as the payments will be made without a claim based on information held by the Russian Pension Fund (PFR).

The payment of 10 thousand rubles is not taken into account when determining the citizen’s right to receive other payments and social support measures.

The payment is not subject to collection according to executive documents and court decisions, Russian media added.
