If the United States feels Russians were involved in the recent hacking on the meat processing business JBS, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has offered the United States to apply through current formal procedures, TASS reports.
JBS had previously revealed that its North American and Australian operations’ computer networks had been attacked in a cyberattack on Sunday. The worldwide meat processing corporation had warned the U.S. of a ransom demand from a criminal group purportedly located in Russia, according to the White House press staff.
According to the U.S. government, it is in communication with Russian officials about the incident. This event is being investigated by the FBI.
