Moscow Telemedicine Centre Conducts More Than 820 Thousand Consultations During Pandemic

Since the beginning of the pandemic, doctors at the telemedicine center in Moscow have completed more than 820 thousand consultations for patients with coronavirus infection and participants of the post-marketing study of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is reported by mos.ru with reference to Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, ICT Moscow writes.

In particular, more than 155 thousand consultations were conducted for the participants in the vaccine study, and more than 660 thousand for patients with COVID-19. The telemedicine center was created this spring specifically for patients with COVID-19 who are mildly ill and are being treated at home.

All information about the course of the disease and the dynamics of the patient’s vital signs are recorded in an electronic medical record and are available to the doctor in real time. Earlier, Moscow’s digital projects to combat the COVID-19 pandemic received the Runet Prize.
