Putin Says Citizens Cannot Be Forced to Take COVID-19 Shot

Although vaccination against the coronavirus infection should not be mandatory, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a video conference on Wednesday that people should understand the importance of these shots, TASS reports.

Putin said that he believes that requiring obligatory vaccination is counterproductive and unnecessary, adding that the citizens should realize this necessity on their own and understand that if they don’t fire a shot, they may face a very serious and even deadly danger.

Putin believes that the Russian coronavirus vaccines are reliable and safe, and that the country has created all of the necessary conditions for vaccination.
