The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Russia increased by 17,378 per day, to 5,334,204, the anti-coronavirus task force told reporters on Monday.
In relative terms, the increase in the number of cases was 0.33%, TASS reports.
The lowest growth rates were recorded per day in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (0%), in the Magadan Region, the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania (0.06% each), and in the Republic of Ingushetia (0.07%).
In particular, during the day, 1,811 cases were detected in the Moscow region, which became the maximum value since the beginning of the pandemic (versus 1,638 the day before), 1,046 – in St. Petersburg, 268 – in the Nizhny Novgorod region, 243 – in the Republic of Buryatia, 199 – in the Voronezh region.
Currently, 326,070 people are continuing treatment in Russia.
