Russia’s Total Coronavirus Case Tally Reaches 6,642,559

The number of verified coronavirus cases in Russia increased by 20,958 in the last 24 hours to 6,642,559, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center on Tuesday.

Currently, the relative growth rate is 0.32 percent, TASS reports.

According to data given by the crisis center, the number of patients getting treatment has risen to 522,125.

The number of reported COVID-19 cases in Moscow increased by 2,006 in the last 24 hours, from 1,489 infections recorded the day before, to 1,545,654.

The rate of relative growth is 0.13 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 56 patients died of COVID-19, bringing the total number of fatalities to 26,707 people (1.73 percent of all patients).

Additionally, a further 2,467 patients recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,414,796. In Moscow, 104,151 individuals are still receiving treatment.

In the last 24 hours, Russia’s coronavirus mortality toll increased by 805 to 172,110.

According to crisis center statistics, 2.59 percent of coronavirus patients died in Russia.

Coronavirus recoveries in Russia increased by 18,407 in the last 24 hours, reaching 5,918,324.

The crisis center noted that at the moment recoveries account for 89.1 percent of total infections.
