Russia’s biggest exhibition of the helicopter industry, HeliRussia, has postponed its 2020 edition slated for May until this fall due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event’s organizers said, according to Aviation Explorer.
“Considering the unfavorable epidemiological situation and the April 2, 2020 decree of the Russian president, which introduced the non-working period until April 30, 2020, we have made the decision to postpone HeliRussia to the fall of 2020,” the organizing committee said in a statement on Monday.
HeliRussia 2020 was to take place in Moscow’s Crocus Expo exhibition hall on May 21-23. The event is the biggest international exhibition of the helicopter industry on the territory of Europe and post-Soviet countries.
“Dear exhibitors, additional information on changing the deadlines for submitting forms will be posted on the site. You can contact your personal manager for all your questions. We hope that the current situation will only strengthen relations in the professional environment. We promise that HeliRussia will maintain a traditionally high level of organization and we will be glad if you share information about the transfer of the exhibition on social networks and send it to partners who were planning to visit HeliRussia,” the organizing committee added.
