On July 9, the Bulgarian airline Bul Air performed its first flight on the route “Varna – Moscow (Sheremetyevo) – Varna” from Sheremetyevo International Airport. The resumption of flights on this route became possible due to the restoration of air traffic on tourist destinations between Bulgaria and Russia.
Flights will be operated twice a week: on Tuesdays (arrival at 10:30 Moscow time, departure at 11:30 Moscow time) and Fridays (arrival at 13:20 Moscow time, departure at 14:10 Moscow time) on comfortable Airbus A320 airliners. The airline is serviced at Terminal D.
According to statistics, the “Moscow – Varna” line is one of the most popular tourist routes in Bulgaria for Russian passengers. The resumption of direct flights in this direction will satisfy the existing demand for flights and will become a favorable factor for increasing the attractiveness of the resort among tourists from Russia.
Bul Air customers arriving in Varna will be able to appreciate the unique architecture and priceless cultural heritage of the port city by visiting the beaches of the Black Sea coast, picturesque bays, and fishing villages, as well as the main attractions of the region: the summer residence of the Bulgarian royal family “Evksinograd”, the “Stone Forest” valley, the famous archaeological museum, the Roman baths of antiquity and others.
Thanks to the extensive route network of Sheremetyevo Airport, travel to the northern “sea capital” of Bulgaria will become accessible, including for passengers arriving from other cities of Russia.
