The main flight SU 260 “Moscow – Tokyo” with the participants of the competition and representatives of the Russian Olympic Committee on board, departed from Terminal D of Sheremetyevo airport on July 18 at 00:55 Moscow time.

Sheremetyevo Airport, within the framework of the Olympic transportation program, plans to serve at least 13 flights on departure.

The transportation of Russian athletes to the Olympic Games is carried out by regular Aeroflot flights from Terminal D.

To ensure the departure of officials and participants of the competition, Sheremetyevo Airport created the most comfortable conditions, taking into account the sanitary and epidemiological requirements and recommendations of the ROC: a comprehensive service of the ROC transport was provided at the terminal area and airport parking space; a separate registration area has been allocated; provided special corridors for expedited passage of pre-flight formalities.

The 2020 Summer Olympic Games, postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be held in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8, 2021. Russian athletes will take part in 27 sports.
