Sheremetyevo Airport Rated One of the Ten Best Organizations in Russia for Corporate Communications

Sheremetyevo International Airport has been rated one of ten best Russian organizations for corporate communications and corporate relations in the seventh annual TOP-COMM survey of Russian directors and departments of corporate communications and corporate relations.

Anna Zakharenkova, Director of Public Relations at Sheremetyevo Airport, was the top-ranked corporate communication executive in the transport and logistics industry and was rated seventh among the TOP-100 directors of corporate communications and corporate relations in Russia. The achievements of the Public Relations Department of Sheremetyevo Airport in the area of external communications were singled out for special recognition.

The Russian TOP-COMM rating is compiled annually by the Association of Directors of Communications and Corporate Media of Russia. Rankings are developed using a mathematical model that relies on fact-based activity data for the previous calendar year provided by the organizations being rated.

Organizations on this list demonstrated high-level media activity as well as openness and transparency in its external and internal communications activities.

The results were presented on June 15 on the online platform of the International Multimedia Press Center of the International News Agency Russia Today.

One of the main goals of the project is to identify and publicly recognize successful industry professionals and designate the 100 best organizations in Russia in the area of corporate communications and corporate relations.

Heads of corporate communications, corporate relations departments and department divisions of the largest Russian and foreign companies operating in Russia submitted information on their activities to compete for inclusion among the TOP-COMM rating’s TOP-100.

Sheremetyevo International Airport is among the TOP-10 airport hubs in Europe, the largest Russian airport in terms of passenger and cargo traffic. In 2019, the airport served 49 million 933 thousand passengers, which was 8.9% more than in 2018.
