North-Caucasus Federal University Boosts Scholarships to 300,000 Rubles

In the first semester, North-Caucasus Federal University will boost scholarships for freshmen who had the best Unified State Exam (USE) scores or pupils who won Olympiads.

According to the university’s press department, certain students will be eligible to receive 300,000 rubles every semester, TASS reports.

Winners and prize-winners of national Olympiads for pupils and competitions sponsored by the Russian Council for Schoolchildren Olympiads who competed in the general competition will be eligible for a prize of 100,000 rubles each semester.

Students who received 100 points on the Unified State Exam will be eligible for a larger award. If the top grade is obtained in one exam, the scholarship will be 100,000 rubles per semester; if the highest grade is obtained in two courses, the award will be 200,000 rubles each semester.

At the same time, candidates who earn 250 or more competitive points will be eligible for a 60,000 ruble per semester scholarship from the institution.

The institution offers financial assistance to bright freshmen through the Stars of North Caucasus Federal University scholarship program. It was originally released in the year 2020. As a consequence, almost 230 students got a monthly stipend of 12,000 rubles for their first five months of study.
