Russia, Iran, and China will undertake combined marine maneuvers in the Persian Gulf in late 2021 or early 2022, according to Russia’s envoy to Tehran, according to the RIA news agency.
The drills, which will involve navy warships from the three nations, will focus on shipping security and combatting piracy, according to the ambassador, Reuters reports.
