More Than 23,700 New Coronavirus Cases Registered in Russia

The anti-coronavirus crisis center informed reporters on Wednesday that Russia verified 23,704 COVID-19 infections in the preceding day, a new low since July 6, bringing the overall case tally to 6,030,240.

The number of new cases increased by 0.39 percent in relative terms, TASS reports.

The number of cases in Moscow has increased by 3,254 in the last day compared to 3,188 the day before, bringing the total number of cases to 1,473,584 since the outbreak began.

The COVID-19 incidence in Moscow increased by 0.22 percent in relative terms.

COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 104 individuals in Moscow in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall death toll to 24,689.

Over the last day, 8,006 patients were discharged from Moscow hospitals, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,304,958 since the outbreak began. At least 143,937 individuals are now undergoing treatment in Russia’s capital.

The number of coronavirus deaths in Russia has increased by 783 in the last 24 hours, up from 784 the day before.

According to statistics, the conditional death rate continues at 2.5 percent.

COVID recoveries in Russia increased by 22,584 in the last 24 hours, to 5,404,797.

According to the crisis center, 89.6 percent of the total number of illnesses had been recovered.
