Russian President Vladimir Putin has no side effects 10 days after the first injection of a two-component Russian vaccine against the coronavirus, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Sputnik on Friday.
“No, there are no symptoms”, Peskov said.
On March 23, Putin received the first shot of a two-phase Russian coronavirus vaccine, with the second injection expected approximately three weeks later.
Putin did not reveal which of the three Russian vaccines he received.
At present, Russia has registered Sputnik V (the first officially certified vaccine against COVID-19 in the world, developed by the Gamaleya Institute), EpiVacCorona, developed by the Novosibirsk research center Vector, and CoviVac, made by the Chumakov Research Institute.
Each one of them has two stages, so it remains unclear which one was used by the Russian president.
