Russia registered 8,947 additional coronavirus cases on Friday, including 2,817 in Moscow. According to Reuters, this has brought the total number of cases to 5,108,129 since the outbreak began.
According to the government’s coronavirus task force, 377 persons have died from coronavirus-related causes in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 123,037.
Between April 2020 and March 2021, Russia documented roughly 250,000 fatalities connected to COVID-19, according to the central statistics department.
