Russia Resumes Supplies of Lung Ventilators Overseas Again

Russia has resumed overseas supplies of lung ventilators, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said on Wednesday, TASS reported.

“We started delivering lung ventilators abroad again,” the Minister said. Awarded government contracts on lung ventilators and thermal imagers are close to completion now, he added.

Export of various personal protection equipment continues, Manturov said.

“Pilot batches of our test systems have already been purchased by Austria and Egypt; the work with Bulgaria, Serbia, Pakistan and the UAE is underway. We started supplying protective suits to Turkmenistan and are preparing for tenders in Brazil. Persian Gulf countries are buying sanitizers and disinfectants,” the Minister said.

An aircraft with personal protection equipment and medicines was sent to Kazakhstan on July 9, Manturov said. “A batch is prepared to help the Central African Republic, the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Republic of Congo,” the Minister noted.
