Sovkombank Addresses Coronavirus Rumors about Its President

Sovcombank denied reports that the president of the bank, Ilya Brodsky, has tested positive for coronavirus, Kommersant reported.

“The President of Sovcombank Ilya Brodsky does not have information about the positive test for coronavirus,” the bank said.

In Russia, over the past 24 hours, 10,699 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus were registered in 83 regions, the total number of infected reached 187,859. Among the infected were several famous people.

At least three members of the Russian government confirmed they tested positive for coronavirus: Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, as well as the Minister of Construction and Housing, Vladimir Yakushev. In addition, at least three deputies at the State Duma, as well as three senators confirmed they were positive for coronavirus.
