The largest airport in Moscow and Russia, Sheremetyevo International Airport, has strengthened its leadership in the region. The closest competitor, Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport, plans to announce its production results for the last year in the second half of January.
However, Domodedovo’s data on passenger traffic for 11 months of the previous year show that the airport has difficulties with the traffic growth indicator, ato.ru reported.
Last year, Sheremetyevo’s passenger traffic amounted to 45.836 million people. Compared to 2017, traffic growth increased 14.3%, the airport said.
