Within five years, AvtoVAZ aims to introduce new Lada models, with their support, bringing the brand to a higher price category “far more than a million rubles,” according to Nicolas Maure, the company’s president.

Mauve said that the company will begin the cycle of upgrading the model range in 2023 and continue until 2026, adding that Lada will be a brand that is not only reasonably priced for customers, but also offers good performance for the money.

At the same time, Maure stated that AvtoVAZ will continue to provide models in the low-cost sector.

He also stated that the firm is upgrading its manufacturing facilities.

AvtoVAZ aims to debut four new automobile models on the Russian market by 2025, including a new generation of the Niva SUV in 2024, according to plans released at the start of the year.

AvtoVAZ manufactures whole cars and parts for two brands: Lada and Renault. JSC AvtoVAZ, JSC Lada Zapad Togliatti, and LLC Lada Izhevsk have facilities in Togliatti and Izhevsk, respectively.

Vesta, Xray, Largus, Granta, and Niva are the five families of Lada products. The brand is the market leader in Russia’s automobile sector, with a market share of more than 20% and representation in over 20 countries. By the end of 2020, the firm had sold 343.5 thousand automobiles in the Russian market (minus five percent by 2019).
