Cabinet of Ministers Approves Payment for Medical Staff Working with COVID-19 Patients

The Cabinet of Ministers of Russia at a meeting on Thursday approved the provision of one-time insurance payment to medical staff working with patients who have confirmed the presence of COVID-19 and patients with suspected coronavirus infection, according to the website of the Russian government.

The message says that the Cabinet of Ministers decided to adopt a draft order of the Russian government on this issue, local media reported.

This draft decree explained in the message, should provide funding for a one-time payment to doctors, nurses, and nurses of medical organizations, ambulance drivers working with patients who have confirmed the presence of the COVID-19 virus, and patients with suspected coronavirus infection.
