Poland Limits Oil Supplies Coming through “Druzhba” Pipeline

Poland restricted the capacity of oil supplies coming through the northern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline, due to the full storage of the Schwedt oil refinery, TASS reported, citing the official representative of Transneft Igor Demin.

Previosly, Demin said that Belneftekhim had suspended oil pumping through Druzhba until Monday, in the direction of Slovakia and Hungary due oil coming through the Odessa-Brody pipeline, Russian media reported.

The pipeline provides oil to Belarusian refineries and its subsequent transit to Europe.

The pipeline originates in the Samara region, passes through Bryansk and then branches into two sections: northern and southern, passes through Belarus and Ukraine, and then to EU members Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, and Lithuania.
