COVID-19 Case Tally in Russia Reaches 6,726,523

The anti-coronavirus crisis center stated on Saturday that COVID-19 instances in Russia increased by 21,000 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 6,726,523 cases. Russia’s coronavirus growth rate stood at 0.31 percent, according to statistics from the crisis center.

The coronavirus-related death tally in Russia increased by 797 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 175,282 from 785 the day before. The mortality rate is estimated to be 2.61 percent, TASS reports.

COVID-19 recoveries increased by 20,647 in Russia, increasing the total to 6,004,052. According to the center’s statistics, recoveries now account for 89.3 percent of all cases.

In the last 24 hours, the number of reported COVID-19 cases in Moscow increased by 1,852 from 1,925 the day before, bringing the total to 1,553,163. The percentage increase is 0.12%.

In Moscow, 55 COVID-19 deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, increasing the total to 26,927. (1.73 percent of all cases).

COVID-19 recovery increased by 2,544 in Moscow, bringing the total to 1,425,773. (91.8 percent ). In the meanwhile, the number of active COVID-19 instances has fallen to 100,463, the lowest level since June 5.
