The number of COVID-19 instances in Russia increased by 18,841 in the previous 24 hours, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center, TASS reports.
Russia marked growth of 0.26 percent, the crisis center informed.
Russia has recorded the largest number of active COVID-19 infections since the outbreak began, standing at 564,813.
The mortality fatality rate from the coronavirus in Russia has risen by 792 in the last 24 hours, up from 781 the day before, to 195,041 deaths.
As per the crisis center, conditional lethality (which can only be established once the epidemic is over) remained at 2.71 percent.
In the last 24 hours, COVID-19 recoveries in Russia increased by 17,039, bringing the total to 6,435,072.
Recovery rates are now at 89.4 percent of overall infections, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center.
