Russia Registers Record Low COVID-19 Cases Since October

The number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in Russia over the past 24 hours has increased by 18,241, the lowest since October 31, TASS reports. The total number of infections has reached 3,756,931, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told journalists on Tuesday.

According to the crisis center, daily values of new infections have not surpassed 22,000 for eight days. The relative growth amounts to 0.49%.

The lowest daily growth rates were registered in the Republic of Tuva (0.04%), the Republic of Altai (0.1%), the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region and the Kostroma Region (0.2%).

Some 1,129 new cases over the past 24 hours have been detected in the Moscow Region, 461 cases – in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 383 – in the Voronezh Region, 382 – in the Rostov Region, and 358 cases have been detected in the Sverdlovsk Region.

In all, currently 511,888 patients continue treatment in Russia.
