Russian Coronavirus Case Tally Goes up by 18,856

Over the last 24 hours, Russia has recorded 18,856 new confirmed coronavirus cases. According to the anti-coronavirus crisis center, the overall number of infections has reached 6,975,174 cases.

According to the crisis center, case numbers are increasing at a rate of 0.27 percent every year, TASS reports.

In all, 552,825 patients are still receiving therapy in Russia at this time.

The number of coronavirus-related deaths in Russia has grown by 799 in the last 24 hours, compared to 798 the previous day. In total, 185,611 people died as a result of the illness.

According to the crisis center, the disease’s preliminary mortality (the final one can only be established once the outbreak is over) has stayed at 2.66 percent.

The number of COVID-19 patients discharged in Russia has grown by 18,690 in the last 24 hours. In total, 6,236,738 patients have made a full recovery.

The entire proportion of recoveries has maintained at 89.4 percent of the entire coronavirus case tally in Russia, according to the crisis center.
