Sheremetyevo Airport Gross Profit Up 16 Percent for 9 Months of 2018

Sheremetyevo’s Board of Directors approved the financial report for the first nine months of 2018, Centre for Aviation reported. According to the results, profit is up by 16.2 percent, compared to the same period last year.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alexander Ponomarenko, stressed that with its general plan, the company has identified the most important strategic milestones and projects for the long-term development of the airport.

“In the general plan for the development of Sheremetyevo International Airport until 2024, we have identified the most important strategic milestones and projects for the modernization and construction of infrastructure, that will ensure long-term progressive development of basic airlines and business partners, and will benefit our passengers and customers,” Ponomarenko said.

“The implementation of the general plan will strengthen the position of Sheremetyevo as the largest airport in Russia, and a competitive passenger and cargo hub in Europe and the world. The new and promising infrastructure of Sheremetyevo Airport will contribute for an effective implementation of Russia’s aviation transit potential,” the Chairman of the Board of Directors highlighted.
