The Russian government has approved a draft law on a preferential import regime for those types of technological equipment and electronic products, the analogs of which are not produced in the Russian Federation, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
The next steps include sending the necessary documentation for an overview by lawmakers in the State Duma.
The adoption of the bill will help to reduce the diversion of working capital of electronic industry organizations that import technological equipment and electronic products, the analogs of which are not produced in Russia.
It will also stimulate the implementation of investment projects to create new electronic industries, Russian media added.
