Rossiya Airlines transferred flights in partnership with tour operator Biblio-Globus, the Sheremetyevo airport, ilawjournals.com reported citing the press service of the carrier.
Thus, the airline has completed the process of rebasing the fleet from Vnukovo Airport to Sheremetyevo Airport. The first step in this process was the transfer in 2018 at Sheremetyevo is part of the regular flights under the commercial management of Aeroflot.
The company noted that the concentration of all Moscow flights at one airport was a strategic direction of development of the airline for several years. This is due to the formation of Aeroflot an extensive network of trails, as well as the desire to provide passengers with convenient connections to domestic and international destinations.
At the end of 2019, Rossiya Airlines has transferred staff to a new office building, located near terminal D of Sheremetyevo airport. Sheremetyevo is also a single mission control center of the airline. Earlier, Aeroflot announced the cancellation of over 60 flights due to the restrictions imposed on the number of passengers arriving at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport.
