More Than 23,200 New Cases in Past Day in Russia

The anti-coronavirus crisis center informed reporters on Monday that Russia verified 23,239 COVID-19 cases in the preceding day, a new low since July 2, bringing the overall number to 6,149,780.

In relative terms, the rate of COVID-19 cases increased by 0.38 percent. According to TASS, in Russia, 488,345 individuals are getting therapy at the moment.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Moscow increased by 2,629 in the last 24 hours, compared to 3,406 the day before, a new low since May 31, and the overall caseload has now reached 1,490,707 since the outbreak began.

The COVID-19 incidence in Moscow increased by 0.18 percent in relative terms.

As per the crisis center, the coronavirus-caused death toll in Moscow increased by 101 from 103 the day before, bringing the total to 25,207.

Over the course of the day, 4,580 people were discharged from hospitals, with a total of 1,336,194 recoveries. In Moscow, 129,306 individuals are now undergoing therapy.

The count of coronavirus deaths in Russia has grown by 727 in the last 24 hours, compared to 779 the day before. In all, 154,601 people died as a result of the illness.

The preliminary fatality of the illness has maintained at 2.51%, according to the crisis center (the ultimate lethality can only be established once the outbreak is over).

On a national level, the number of COVID patients who were discharged has climbed by 16,200 in the last 24 hours. In total, 5,506,834 patients have made a full recovery.

The overall proportion of recoveries to yet, according to the crisis center, is roughly 89.5 percent of the total coronavirus case tally in Russia.
