More Than 23,800 New Coronavirus Cases Registered in Russia

Russia verified 23,811 COVID-19 instances in the last day, increasing the overall number of cases to 6,078,522, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center.

In relative terms, the number of COVID instances in Russia increased by 0.39 percent.

The number of reported COVID patients in Moscow increased by 3,425 in the last 24 hours, up from 4,287 the day before. The anti-coronavirus crisis center informed reporters on Friday that 1,481,296 persons in the Russian capital had been affected so far.

The rate of relative growth is 0.32 percent, TASS reports.

The city recorded 107 COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities to 24,898. (1.68 percent of those infected).

Meanwhile, 7,010 more patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,319,555. Presently, 136,843 patients are getting treatment in Moscow.

The number of coronavirus deaths in Russia has grown by 795 in the last 24 hours, compared to 796 the day before. In total, 152,296 people died as a result of the illness.

The preliminary fatality of the illness has risen to 2.51%, as per the crisis center (the ultimate lethality can only be established once the outbreak is over).

The number of coronavirus recoveries in Russia has increased by 22,547 in the last 24 hours. By this time, 5,450,004 individuals have recovered.

Recovery rates are presently at 86.7 percent of overall infections, according to the crisis center.
