Russia’s Coronavirus Tally Grows by 18,368 Cases

Over the last 24 hours, Russia has recorded 18,368 new confirmed COVID-19 infections. The anti-coronavirus crisis center notified media on Wednesday that the overall number of infections had reached 6,937,333.

According to the crisis center, new cases are increasing at a rate of 0.27 percent every year, TASS reports.

In all, 553,940 patients are still receiving therapy in Russia at this time.

The number of coronavirus-related deaths in Russia has grown by 790 in the last 24 hours, compared to 795 the day before. In total, 184,014 people died as a result of the illness.

According to the crisis center, the provisional mortality (the final one can only be established once the outbreak is over) has stayed at 2.65 percent.
