Russia’s Coronavirus Tally up by 29,409 Cases

Russia has reported 29,409 new verified coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the second-largest number since the start of the outbreak, with an overall number of cases that hit 7,804,774, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center on Monday.

The crisis center reports that the proportional rise in new illnesses is 0.38 percent, TASS reports.

In the last 24 hours, confirmed COVID-19 instances in Moscow increased by 5,002 to 1,683,677, up from 4,610 the previous day.

According to the most recent statistics, the coronavirus growth rate in the Russian capital was 0.3 percent.

The anti-coronavirus crisis center stated that COVID-19 deaths in Moscow climbed by 71 in the last 24 hours in comparison to 72 the previous day, reaching 29,738, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus has increased by 2,284 in Moscow in the last day, bringing the total to 1,514,140. According to the most recent data, 139,799 persons in the Russian capital are still receiving medical care for the coronavirus illness.

In Russia, the number of coronavirus deaths increased by 957 in the past 24 hours, compared to 962 the previous day.

For the sixth time in a row, the coronavirus caused upwards of 900 daily fatalities in the country.

The overall number of COVID-19 deaths in Russia has reached 217,372 since the outbreak began. The conditional death rate (which can only be established once the epidemic is over) has risen to 2.79 percent, according to the crisis center.

In the previous 24 hours, the number of people recovered from coronavirus in Russia increased by 15,460 to 6,873,579.

According to the crisis center, the recovery rate has dropped to 88.1 percent of those diagnosed.
