On Tuesday, Russia reported 18,833 new COVID-19 instances, including 1,105 in Moscow, bringing the total number of cases to 6,785,374, Reuters reports.
According to the Russian anti-coronavirus crisis center, 794 additional coronavirus patient fatalities have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 177,614.
Between April of last year and June of 2021, Rosstat, the government statistics office, kept a separate tally from the pandemic task force and reported around 315,000 fatalities attributable to coronavirus.
