Russia’s Total Coronavirus Case Tally Reaches 6,534,791

There have been a total of 6,534,791 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Russia during the previous 24 hours, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center, TASS reports.

There are 537,770 individuals receiving therapy in Russia at the moment.

More than 18,000 people have died in Russia from the coronavirus since yesterday, an increase of 808 from 799 recorded a day earlier. For the first time since the epidemic began, the country has seen over 800 COVID-19 fatalities each day, according to statistics supplied by the crisis center.

The average death rate is 2.57 percent.

During the previous 24 hours, Russia’s COVID-19 recovery rate increased by 20,195 to 5,828,972 cases. Recovery rates, according to the crisis center, are at 89.2 percent.

There have been 2,294 coronavirus infections reported in Moscow in the previous 24 hours, up from 2,076 a day before. There have been 1,535.359 infections in the city since the epidemic began.

It is estimated that the relative growth is 0.15 percent.

Since June 5, there have been 56 fatalities in the city. The crisis center reports 26 423 fatalities overall (1.72 percent of those infected).

With a total of 1,401,836 recoveries, 3,329 patients have been discharged in the previous 24 hours. At least  107,100 patients are now receiving treatment in the capital.
