Moscow and Jakarta Prepare Joint Agreement on Cybersecurity

Moscow and Jakarta are on their way to draft a bilateral agreement that will cover the cooperation in the sector of cybersecurity, Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of Russia said, TASS informed.

Lavrov stated this at a press conference that followed a meeting between him and the Indonesian foreign minister Retno Marsudi on Tuesday.

He also said that both countries discussed the issue of cybersecurity at a global level.

Parties also agreed to discuss that matter with other international platforms, like United Nations and ASEAN.
